Our Project Stages
From initial concept to final touches, the project typically progresses through several key phases: Discovery & Planning, Design Development, Pre-Construction, Construction and Styling/Install/Completion. Each phase is designed to build upon the previous one, allowing for flexibility, cost control, and timely delivery. In this summary, we’ll walk you through each phase, highlighting what to expect and how we work together to bring your vision to life.
We collect your inspiration via BuilderTrend and create initial designs. We host first design meetings.
We refine your selections and designs, complete plans and documents and submit for permitting.
We obtain permit and construction begins.
Construction is completed, all permitting requirements are met and the project is closed. Warranty folder is presented.

- Confirm all plans and selections, submit for permitting
- Sub-contracts are executed, materials are confirmed and/or ordered, job-site is made ready

How many weeks is typical for the Design Phase?
We normally allot 8-10 weeks for our Design Phase. This varies by project and is based on the complexity of the project. This time allotment may be extended if decisions are delayed.
How many weeks is typical for the permit to be issued?
Permitting takes as long as takes, that is the simple answer. The building department’s have a ‘first come, first served’ system and we simply get in line. Occasionally nit can take up to 3 months for permit issuance.
How soon does construction start once we have the permit?
Once your permit issued we can potentially begin construction within 2 weeks. We move as quickly as we can. You are encouraged to follow along with our schedule by viewing the GANTT in BuilderTrend.
How long will it take to complete my project?
